From the app, Settings › About › Email support fills in your app and iOS version for you. Please don’t send videos; a screenshot and a sentence on what happened are plenty.
Common questions
Which iPhone do I need?
An iPhone 12 or newer, on iOS 26. Everything runs on the phone, so a newer phone finishes sooner.
How should I film?
Put the phone on a tripod at hip height, 3–4 m (10–13 ft) away, side-on to you. Keep your whole body and the paddle in the picture for the whole set.
Film in the app, or import a clip you already have from Photos. 60 fps helps on drives.
What happens to my videos?
They stay on your phone, in Photos. Tracking and scoring run on the phone, offline too. No video is uploaded.
Only body points and your results back up to your account, so a new phone keeps your history. The privacy policy has the details.
Whose swing is the ghost?
Your own best rep, once you’ve filmed a few. Until then, a reference rep from an interim player, and the app says so on screen. A coach’s reference comes later, as an update.
Will it tell me my rating?
No. FormWatch looks at form, not results, and it doesn’t estimate a rating. It shows what your swing does and the one thing to fix first.
When can I get it?
FormWatch comes to the App Store for iPhone in December. Join the waitlist and we’ll write when it’s out. Android comes later.
Delete your data
Deleting your account deletes all its data, on your phone and in the backup. It can’t be undone.
Delete account and Export my data come to the app in a later build, before launch. Until then, please write tohello@formwatchapp.com from your account’s address and we’ll delete your account for you.
- If you want a copy first: Settings › Privacy and data › Export my data.
- Open Settings › Account › Delete account.
- Check the list of what goes, then tap Delete account.
What goes
Your account and its sign-in; your sessions, scores and cues; your ghosts; things to work on; your streak, profile and settings.
What stays
Your videos, in Photos. And your subscription: deleting your account doesn’t cancel it, so please cancel it in the iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Offline, or without the app
If your phone is offline, the phone is cleared right away and the backup is deleted the next time it’s online. If you no longer have the app, write to hello@formwatchapp.com from your account’s email address and we’ll delete it for you.
